In January 2013, the company that was established by the merger of FW Murphy and EControls in 2009 was renamed Enovation Controls®.

The Murphy brand was established in 1939, and is committed to providing innovative products and services for comprehensive equipment management and control solutions. These solutions are utilized in industrial off-highway, mobile and stationary equipment, and in recreational marine and vehicle markets.

Our commitment to continuous product development enables Enovation Controls to deliver a broad range of innovative control and monitoring solutions for industrial engines and engine-driven equipment, supplied to major OEMs around the world. UK company name change
In line with US parent company Enovation Controls LLC, our UK-based company Frank W Murphy Ltd. – serving Europe, Middle East, Africa and some Asia regions – also changed name in 2013 to Enovation Control Ltd.

The UK company continues to be a wholely owned subsidiary of Enovation Controls LLC, and our registered company number and address remain as before.

Will the Murphy® and Computronic Controls® names continue?
Our company name has changed, but Murphy remains our main product brand. In 2017, most current Computronic Controls battery chargers were brought under the worldwide Murphy product brand.

FW Murphy Production Controls (FWMPC) and EControls are no longer part of the Enovation Controls group, but Enovation Controls UK, and our distributors in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, will continue to distribute and support many (but not all) FWMPC products in natural gas compressor markets.

Our Salisbury UK office continues to provide sales and service for Murphy engine controls/instruments and battery chargers in Europe, Middle East, Africa and most Asia regions. Also in those regions, we continue to provide sales and support for some FW Murphy Production Controls (FWMPC) instruments and end-devices in oil & gas production and compression markets. Accounts information
Our UK company VAT and bank account numbers remain as before. From 1st October 2013, all commercial correspondance – quotations, orders, order acknowlegments, invoices and payments – will come from, and should be addressed to, Enovation Controls Ltd.
