SenderCAN®
At the heart of most modern engines is an Electronic Control Unit. The ECU measures engine parameters, controls fuelling and speed, and communicates with auxillary equipment such as intrumentation.
But the engine ECU has limits. SenderCAN steps in where ECU input/output is scarce, or where there are OEM- or application-specific measurement needs. SenderCAN will translate resistive sender or relay/switch signals into J1939 CANbus data, ready for integration with instrumentation, control and telemetry systems.
SenderCAN uses a compact case, suitable for surface- or in-harness mounting. The epoxy-filled construction gives superior shock resistance and environmental sealing, allowing use in off-road, marine or other demanding conditions.
